Doug Benzine
Doug is the vice president of advisory services with Credit Union National Association. As a former officer of CUNA Network Services and widely recognized credit union e-commerce expert, Doug is a well-known voice to credit union groups interested in online products and services. He brings extensive credit union e-commerce and technology experience, as well as experiences as a financial services consultant for KPMG Peat Marwick. Doug understands what credit unions want when they turn to experts for help, whether in the online arena, or when seeking improved profitability and service performance: practical answers based on the best and latest information.
Chris Braccia
Chris is the director of product marketing, retail solutions group for Harland Financial Solutions. In his prior banking career, Chris was one of the first users of MCIF (Marketing Customer Information File) technology. Before joining Harland, Chris held positions as marketing director, research analyst, and sales manager in mutual savings banks. Chris is a frequent speaker at financial services conferences.
John Godwin
John is vice president of Business Development/Strategic Alliances at MECU of Baltimore. John has been with MECU for over six years. In his business development role, his department has overseen two successful mergers, brought on over 200 new SEGs and over 12,000 new potential members.
John is the former CEO of Family Alliance Federal Credit Union in White Marsh, MD and earned his designation as a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) in 2007.
Stacey Hanke
Stacey's expertise focuses on changing individual's communication behavior while influencing others to take action. She is a featured author in the book Conversations On Success with Jack Canfield, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul.
As a coach, Stacey has provided customized instruction for over 4,000 individuals worldwide. Her area of expertise lies in changing behavior to provide individuals powerful skills that enhance and maximize their ability to influence others to take action. Some of Stacey's repeat clients include Coca-Cola Enterprises, Deloitte, TransUnion, Leo Burnett, United States Navy, Federal Drug Administration, and Hewlett Packard.
Stacey is also an instructor on the topic of "Executive Presentation Skills" for MBA students attending DePaul University in Chicago and serves on the small business panel for USA Today.
Claudine Oriani
Claudine Oriani has been involved in adult education assessment, design, and delivery for the past 25 years, 15 of which have been spent in the credit union industry. Her thought-provoking presentations on marketing/branding, employee development, team building, leadership, strategic planning, service, and financial literacy have received superior marks from thousands of participants. Claudine once performed as a stand-up comedian and often infuses her presentations with humor. On this subject, she states: "Research has quantified the link between laughter and learning retention, so there's a method to my madness.".
Jeff Rendel
Jeff is president of Rising Above Enterprises, and offers a wealth of knowledge from his experience in the financial services marketplace. In his current position, he works with associations and professionals who want greater professional growth, as well as financial services providers who want deeper market penetration. His mission is to develop excellent leaders – in life, on the job, for your members, and for your credit union. Jeff has held such positions as federal regulator, financial executive, and congressional lobbyist.
Robin Richmond
In her 19 year career in credit unions, Robin understands all aspects of running a successful credit union. In 1983, she joined her first credit union as a regional manager, in charge of operations for three branch offices. Several successful marketing ideas later, Robin found herself in the enviable position of marketing director for the then $100 million financial institution.
For nine years, Robin served as vice president, marketing & quality service for First Future Credit Union. In this capacity, she directed product planning and pricing, advertising, public relations, business development and quality service.
Robin now runs her own consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, quality service, and marketing. She has successfully assisted organizations with employee and team development, marketing, customer retention strategies, technology planning, and total quality management. Robin is also the author of Brand Marketing: Winning Strategies for Marketers, published by CUNA.
