Jim Mathis
Jim Mathis has been leading training conferences and consulting nationally for over 25 years. He founded The Mathis Group, LLC to help business leaders improve their skills and assist their people in working together better. Jim is a partner in Leading With Spirit!, a member of the National Speakers Association and the International Coach Federation, and the author of "Reaching Beyond Excellence." He is a graduate of Coach U Coach Training Program and is certified by Corporate Coach U International to deliver the Coaching Clinic® Training Program, DiSC®, and the Personal Coaching Styles Inventory® self assessment tools.
William Myers
William Myers founded Alternatives Federal Credit Union of Ithaca, New York in 1979 and has been its CEO throughout its 28 year existence. He provides strategic direction as well as hands-on management of the credit union's activities. From its inception, the credit union has successfully focused on serving underserved markets with innovative products and partnerships. Innovations include a VITA tax preparation site, three youth credit union branches, Business CENTS training, Money Wise financial planning, a Payday Alternatives product, Tompkins County Livable Wage Statistic, community partnership lending, and Individual Development Accounts. Starting in June 2007, Myers will have a senior fellowship with the Aspen Institute Economic Opportunities Program.
Ben Rast
Ben Rast, founder and senior partner of The Rast Group, works with a individuals and institutions to develop appropriate investment and financial planning strategies. He ranks in the top seven percent of all Morgan Stanley financial advisors nationwide. A Certified Financial Planner and an Estate Planning Consultant, he frequently speaks to professional groups on the topics of business, economics, investments, and financial planning. Ben has been an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College, and he has taught continuing education courses and served as an adjunct professor for the University of South Carolina.
David A. Reed
David Reed, founder of CU Doctor, is an author, consultant, and nationally recognized speaker. He provides guidance to credit unions concerning a variety of matters, including credit union policies and procedures, organizational compliance, collections, security, contractual agreements, regulatory matters, and corporate governance. A former bankruptcy attorney and vice president and general counsel for a large credit union, David is particularly noted as an expert in the areas of bankruptcy and collections.
