Michelle Bloedorn
Michelle Bloedorn is vice president of sales and service at Baxter Credit Union, where she has been responsible for implementing and managing the Net Promoter Score. She is also responsible for marketing, online services, inbound sales, and contact center management. Before her current position, Michelle had more than 16 years of credit union industry experience in marketing, business development, product management, call center management, online services, and branch management. She has worked for South Carolina FCU, Orange County Teachers CU, Riverside County FCU, and CUNA Mutual.
David Brehmer
David Brehmer has served as First Carolina Corporate Credit union's president and CEO since 1994. Previously, he was president/CEO of San Diego Postal Credit Union. His 28 year credit union career also includes senior management positions at San Diego County Credit Union, Torrey Pines Federal Credit Union, and Torrey Pines Federal, Inc., a credit union service organization.
Matt Davis
Matt Davis is the director of public relations at Members Credit Union ($210 million, Winston-Salem, NC). A member of the Filene Research Institute's 30-Under-30 Group and author of "The Credit Union Warrior" blog, Matt has been at the center of credit union innovation. Projects such as What are you saving for? and Football Pick'em have earned Matt recognition in Yahoo! Finance, Currency Marketing's Credit Union Innovators, Credit Union Times, and Credit Union Journal. His passion for community involvement has earned Members Credit Union four consecutive NCCUL Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Awards.
Fred Eisel
Fred Eisel joined First Carolina Corporate Federal Credit Union in 2000 and serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Investment Officer. In this role, he is responsible for actively managing First Carolina's investment portfolios as well as overseeing the corporate's asset/liability management and investment services.
Before coming to First Carolina Corporate, he had served as an investment analyst/officer at a large corporate credit union, responsible for investment portfolio analysis. He also administered the corporate's asset-liability management service providing ALM software implementation, education and assistance
Charles Elliott
Charles Elliott, CLE, CUDE, and president/CEO of Mississippi Credit Union Association, has made dozens of presentations to credit union organizations across the country on disaster preparedness and Hurricane Katrina. In September 2005, on behalf of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), Charles provided his testimony to the members of Congress on the House Financial Services Subcommittee regarding financial institutions' response to Hurricane Katrina. In 2006, he received the National Credit Union Foundation's Anchor Award for his "extraordinary strength and perseverance in helping credit unions recover from the worst natural disaster in American history."
Tony Ferris
Tony Ferris, partner, The Rochdale Group, has devoted 13 years to leadership and business development positions in the financial services community. His primary areas of expertise include leadership and organizational development, sales and negotiation tactics, strategic planning, merger planning, regulatory compliance, and project management. Tony began his career with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, where he held various leadership roles over his 10-year tenure. Tony then served three years as vice president of member relations for U.S. Central Federal Credit Union where he was responsible for overseeing and leading member relations and business development with corporate credit union members, as well as managing sales and marketing, member communications, public relations, and event planning. Today, Tony is a partner with The Rochdale Group, a credit union consulting firm where he specializes in project management, group collaboration and facilitation, compliance, and merger planning and integration.
Jill Jarman Nowacki
Jill Jarman Nowacki is the executive director of Credit Union House in Washington D.C. where she works to maintain credit unions' permanent presence on the national scene. She also serves on Filene Research Institute's 30 under 30 program, a collaborative effort focused on developing new ideas to make credit unions more relevant to Generation Y. Before beginning work with Credit Union House in 2006, Jill spent four years as director of advocacy and communication for Montana's credit unions, working closely with credit unions around the state to increase awareness of and relevance to all of Montana's consumers.
Lynn Kneebone
Lynn Kneebone, with more than 19 years of financial services industry experience, is the Southeast regional business development manager for CO-OP Financial Services. Lynn leads the sales efforts in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and Puerto Rico. During her industry tenure, Lynn accumulated years of experience in electronic commerce and payment services at First Data Corporation, and prior to joining CO-OP, was regional vice president at Fidelity National Information Services (formerly Certegy, Inc.)., working closely with credit unions in the EFT space.
Rick Menton, CCUE, CLE
Rick Menton, president of Menton Consulting, offers expertise in strategic management, planning facilitation, project management, and management training. He spent 23 years with the Minnesota and Oklahoma Credit Union Leagues in senior management positions. Additionally, he has worked as a marketing executive, lender, and in collections.
Dr. Jerry V. Teplitz
Dr. Jerry V. Teplitz is a well-known writer and speaker on the topics of stress management, leadership, sales development, and attitude enhancement. He is the author of Managing Your Stress: How To Relax and Enjoy, Switched-On Living, and Brain Gym for Business. He teaches people how to have greater business and personal success by tapping into the power of their personal energy system. He practiced as an attorney for the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency before making a dramatic change in career direction and receiving his Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Wholistic Health Sciences. Jerry holds the title of "Certified Speaking Professional" and has been selected as a "Top Rated Speaker" by the International Platform Association.
George M. Towle
George M. Towle is executive vice president of The Rochdale Group, a management consulting and project-development firm serving the nation's largest credit unions. Before his duties with The Rochdale Group, George co-founded The ProCon Group, Ltd., a consulting firm for credit unions, leagues, and other credit union organizations. In his capacity as co-founder and partner, George was responsible for the creation and implementation of executive programming in the areas of strategic planning, leadership, and organization development.
Marcia Sarrazin
Marcia Sarrazin is the associate regional director of operations for Region 3 of the National Credit Union Administration. She has held that position since April 2005. Marcia began her career with the National Credit Union Administration in 1980 as a cooperative education student from Northeastern University in Boston. Her examiner duty stations were in New Jersey and Connecticut. She was a regional insurance director in New York; a supervisory examiner in Rhode Island; and supervision director in the office of examination and insurance prior to her current position.
