  Randy Coleman

Randy Coleman is an account relationship manager with CUNA Mutual Group. He began his career with CUNA Mutual in 1999 as a lending specialist. Randy conducts numerous training sessions on consumer lending throughout South Carolina and has attained certification as a CCUE through CUNA. Prior to joining CUNA Mutual Group, he held various lending positions at a credit union in Tennessee.


  Scott Conley

Scott Conley is the CEO of May Plant Credit Union and a graduate of the University of South Carolina. His credit union career started in the South Carolina Credit Union League in 1984 as an auditor with CUMS Audit Division. He progressed to the position of comptroller, then vice president for The Carolina Corporate Credit Union. From 1995-2005 he served as the CFO, senior vice president of finance for the S. C. Credit Union League and Affiliates. In addition, Scott has served as interim CEO of several credit unions and been extensively involved in the development of financial management policies and procedures.


  Steve Fowler

Steve Fowler is executive vice president of governmental affairs and public relations for the South Carolina Credit Union League and Affiliates. He joined in 1971 as a credit union auditor and served in that capacity until named member services representative in 1972. Steve also served as manager of credit union marketing services , administrative assistant to the League President, director of financial services division, and vice president of corporate and correspondent services.


  C. Todd Harms

Todd Harms is vice president of sales development and human resources at Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Previously, he was AVP training with S.C. State Credit Union. During his time with State Credit Union, he worked as a part-time teller and member services representative while attending college. After graduation, Harms served as loan officer, support branch manager, and branch manager before moving into the field of human resources. His first involvement with credit unions dates back to 1990 with Founders Federal Credit Union, where he worked as a teller. He is a member of the CUNA HR Council, and has been awarded certification as a Business Development Sales Trainer from CUNA Mutual. He is also a graduate of CUNA' s National Training Institutes, Human Resource Management Schools, and the Credit Union University Development Institute.


  Chuck Hiers

Chuck Hiers is the vice president of lending at Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union. He has been a frequent speaker at credit union conferences and seminars. He is a graduate of the Citadel (SC Military College) and has had extensive experience throughout his career in various positions within financial services.


  Christy Curtis Jones

Christy Curtis Jones is an attorney with Sherpy & Jones, P.A., a firm that specializes in servicing credit unions' needs. Jones concentrates her practice in the areas of creditor/debtor rights, bankruptcy, collections, and foreclosure. In addition to her credit union training activities, she has served as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina School of Law, teaching legal writing to first year students.


  Jeff McGuire, CCUE

Jeff McGuire is vice president of Ronald R. Hyde & Company, a financial management company that provides management consulting and training. Take several parts humor, motivation and education, mix in some patriotic zeal, and you have just participated in a credit union seminar given by Jeff McGuire. Whether the topic is geared toward credit union staff, management or volunteers, Jeff has the ability to present the information in a manner that is both educational and entertaining. Jeff speaks on topics such as lending, asset/liability management, robbery, supervisory management skills, and more. Previously, Jeff was a consultant with the Texas Credit Union League for 15 years where he developed many of the supervisory committee and director training programs.


  R. Todd Sherpy

Todd Sherpy is a founding partner in Sherpy & Jones, P.A, of Lexington, South Carolina. Todd and his team are dedicated to serving the legal needs of credit unions and have attained a national reputation for their work in legal auditing, compliance, and bankruptcy/collections. Todd has also authored CUNA's RegTraC and VAP training modules and serves as editor of Credit Union Legal News©.


  Mary Wilson

Mary Wilson is an experienced presenter and trainer with Three Rivers Center for Behavioral Health in Columbia, S.C. She was formerly with Richland Springs Recovery Center (RSRC), the Consumer Credit Counseling Service, and assistant count home economist for Chesterfield County. Mary has been been a presenter at various credit union conferences and workshops.
